🇱🇰 SRI LANKA — MARCH 2027

Wake up with the jungle
Breathe with the wild

Hidden among the wetlands and elephant corridors of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle lies a slow, soulful ten-day escape.

This immersive retreat invites you to step off the sidelines and into the heartbeat of the island. Practice yoga at sunrise, trek to hidden waterfalls, source vibrant spices at local markets, and sit in stillness within ancient temples. You won’t just visit Sri Lanka—for ten unforgettable days, you will live it.

It doesn’t matter if this is your fifth retreat or your first time on a mat. The days are built to hold both — enough structure to keep you moving forward, enough open space to simply exist. Village life outside the gate carries on at its own unbothered pace, and somewhere in the middle of that, you find yours.

About the retreat

A slow, soulful yoga immersion in Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle.

Escape the noise of everyday life and reconnect with your body, breath, and spirit on our 10-day yoga retreat in Phnom Penh, set directly on the
banks of the mighty Mekong River. This immersive Cambodia wellness retreat blends daily yoga practice, sound healing ceremonies, traditional
Khmer massage, Qi Gong movement, guided cultural excursions, and authentic Cambodian cuisine — all designed to help you slow down, restore your energy, and leave feeling completely renewed.

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a first-time retreat-goer, this Phnom Penh yoga retreat offers the perfect balance of structured practice and unhurried rest, surrounded by the calming rhythm of riverside life.

Anchor rooted in one place

Ten days in one home, entirely free from travel fatigue. Located between peaceful paddies and a lake, the retreat faces a rising forest with a jungle waterfall nearby. Instead of rushing between cities, staying in one place allows your practice to connect directly with the land, the trees, and the steady rhythm of village life. There is room here to actually settle.

Flow a daily rhythm dictated by nature

Morning: Sunrise practice as the mist clears the fields.Afternoon: Temple excursions, waterfall treks, and open downtime.

Evening: Sunset practice as the heat breaks into golden light.

Return connection over checklist

A shared experience for a small circle of like-minded travelers. This is an immersive journey, not a resort stay with yoga added on. We gather around shared tables for nourishing meals and quiet evening conversations. It is designed exclusively for those looking to return home realigned.

Why Choose This Sri Lanka Yoga Retreat?

Sri Lanka’s dry zone has shaped village life here for generations — itslake, paddies, and surrounding forest set the rhythm for farming, fishing, and festivals alike. Practising yoga on its banks means practising in sync with that rhythm: sunrise sessions as the land wakes, sunset sessions as it settles, and a stillness in between that’s hard to find anywhere else — with the jungle and its waterfall never far from reach.

Daily yoga sessions (sunrise & sunset), suited to all levels

  • Sunrise/ sundet yoga sessions for all levels - from dynamic vinyasa to Restorative

  • Guided jungle waterfall swims, away from the crowds

  • Visits to ancient rock temples and village shrines with local guides

  • A market walk through spices, fruit, and handmade goods

  • Traditional oil massage and rest, rooted in ancient healing tradition

  • Garden shalas and quiet corners for rest, journaling, or doing nothing

  • Capped at 15 guests, for a personal, uncrowded experience

The Itinerary

Your Journey, Day by Day

Sri Lanka

Ten days, one retreat home, one unfolding practice — each day builds gently on the last, from sunrise yoga to temple excursions and quiet waterfall afternoons.

Days 1

📍Arrival & Grounding Srilanka

Arrive at your retreat home and settle in. Enjoy a welcome drink and opening ceremony with your group, then join a gentle evening yoga and breathing session to ground yourself after travel. A light dinner and early rest close out the day — no rush, just arrival.

Days 2

📍Ashtanga Yoga & Village Visit

Begin with sunrise Ashtanga yoga in the open-air shala, followed by a nourishing breakfast. In the afternoon, a guided visit to the nearby village, walking through paddy fields, along the lake bund, and into theedge of the forest.

A restorative yoga and yoga nidra session in the evening closes things out gently.

Days 3

📍Ashtanga Yoga & Yoga Philosophy

A morning Ashtanga practice builds strength and focus. In the afternoon, a guided talk on the philosophy behind the practice — exploring the
roots of yoga beyond the physical postures.

As evening falls, a sunset meditation session to sit with what was discussed.

Day 4

📍Ashtanga Yoga & Ayurvedic Cooking

Sunrise Ashtanga yoga opens the day. The afternoon is dedicated to a hands-on Ayurvedic cooking session, learning how food is used as medicine in traditional Sri Lankan practice, alongside optional Ayurvedic spa treatments for those who’d rather rest. An evening Yin yoga session closes things out slowly.

Day 5

📍Ashtanga Yoga & Market Day

Sunrise Ashtanga yoga to close out five consecutive days of morning practice.

In the afternoon, an excursion to the local market to explore spices and fresh fruit with your retreat guide.

In the evening, a Bhakti session of chanting and mantra around the fire.

Day 6

📍Temple Excursion & Strength

A grounding Hatha yoga session with pranayama opens the day — the practice now shifts to alternate days, with Ashtanga returning every other morning from here.

Mid-morning, an excursion to a nearby ancient rock temple with a local guide, learning about its history and spiritual
significance.

In the afternoon, a strength-focused drills session. A restorative Yin yoga class closes the evening.

Day 7

📍Ashtanga Yoga & Wildlife Day

Ashtanga yoga returns for the morning practice before heading out on an optional safari to a nearby national park, known for its wild elephant gatherings. A restorative recovery yoga session in the evening.

Day 8

📍Second Waterfall & Strength

A Vinyasa flow with full-body sun salutations opens the morning, on this alternate, non-Ashtanga day.

A strength drills session follows before an afternoon excursion to a quieter waterfall and nature trail, with time to swim. In the evening, a Yin yoga session for deep release.

Day 9

📍Ashtanga Yoga & Full Circle

Ashtanga yoga returns for the morning, inviting reflection on the week so far.

In the afternoon, an excursion to a second temple and village shrine. The evening closes with a shared closing ceremony dinner.

Day 10

📍Closing Circle & Departure

A final sunrise yoga and gratitude circle by the water. The group gathers for a farewell breakfast before checkout and transfer assistance.
